Am I Eligible?

Any customer of PG&E or a partnering Community Choice Aggregator in PG&E’s service territory can enroll and earn rewards in WatterSaver, if:

Once your application is approved and your water heater is connected to WatterSaver, there is a four-week orientation period when WatterSaver will get to know your water usage preferences without making any adjustments to your energy use.

  • When your four-week orientation period is over, you’ll receive a one-time $50 enrollment bonus!
  • You’ll also earn a $5 gift card for every month you successfully participate in WatterSaver! That’s an additional $60 per year!

Note: If you are a TECH Clean California participant who received an incentive to install a new water heater and are required by the Self-Generation Incentive Program (SGIP) to enroll in a demand response program like WatterSaver, please contact WatterSaver support if your water heater model is not currently eligible.
