Benefits of Participation
The PG&E account holder (whether the property owner or the tenant) receives a $50 Enrollment Reward for each water heater connected, and ongoing Participation Rewards after that.

How it Works
The program connects to smart water heaters either through Wi-Fi or a communication device, which sends signals to and receives information from the water heaters. If necessary, WatterSaver can provide a communication module for free.
